We will be taking the overnight ferry from Poole to Cherbourg on Friday 25th April. Our ride starts early on Saturday morning and we will make our way down the Cherbourg peninsula to our first overnight stay in Avranches, from there we go inland crossing the Loire near Angers and on towards Bordeaux. From there we will be following the coast to Biarritz, the Spanish border and San Sebastien - with luck we will have a couple of days in Northern Spain before catching the Ferry back to Plymouth. We will be travelling on D roads wherever possible. see approximate route on the link on the side panel.
P.B. Certainly looks like a challenge! How long are you allowing for the trip? Will you and Hugh ride alone or as part of a bigger group, and will you have vehicular support along the way?
So many questions!

Hello Bobby we’re about to launch appeal next week – that’s why delay in replying to you. We are expecting to be riding for 8 to 9 days but have built some slack in!
